Does the left win with a message of hope and does the right win with a message of fear?

I mean this as a general rule, of course. I think it is true.

The left always use the message of fear.

"Vote for us or you'll get those evil far right Nazis. They've launched a war on women, gays, blacks, Jews, muslims, eskimos, animals, trees, oxygen."

LOL. Its a bit of a straw man argument. Nobody has actually called Trump and Nazi. He is against oxygen though, as I saw in a FB news story. ;-)

@Burnley123:

Yes, the left is full of strawman arguments.

"Nobody has actually called Trump a nazi."

I take it you live in a literal bubble, then.

@Booyeah: A literal bubble or a liberal bubble?
Booyeah · 41-45, M
@Burnley123: Perhaps both.

@Booyeah: I'm actually a socialist BTW so please don't call me a liberal. :-)
Booyeah · 41-45, M
@Burnley123: The modern liberal advocates for socialism, so I don't see the problem.

Pfffff. Not even sure where to start with that.

Please look up the definitions of 'liberal' and 'socialist'.
Yes, the left is full of strawman arguments.
Also look up the word 'irony'.

@Burnley123: Look up the phrase "red herring".
