What is funny about Trumpism

People are either 100% for him, or 100% against. There never seem to be people that are 50%. How many times have you seen Trump lie, and cheat, and deny doing things he earlier admitted to doing? Every time he opens his mouth it is to spill some lie about something, trying to deflect blame to someone else.
Even when he is convicted by a jury that he helped select, he still denies he did anything wrong.
And yet, the 100%/100% thing still applies.
It is hilarious to read posts in here. Are people really that stupid that they look at Trump as the best they have? Seriously? lol.
Surely there must be some people that are still undecided? That this case has swayed you away from this crook.

I voted for Biden in 2020 because I thought anyone would be better than Trump, but I may have been wrong. Biden has been a complete disaster for this country.
I will never vote for Trump, but I also will not vote for Biden again. If these two are the best the country can come up with, might as well just scrap everything and admit the US is a failure.

@independentone Other than Israel, how has Biden been a disaster?
@BohoBabe Afghanistan withdrawl, 320 million down the drain on a pier for Gaza to name two.
Fukfacewillie · 56-60, M
@independentone I don’t think those are very good examples, and certainly not a reason to vote for Trump.

@Fukfacewillie How about his doing nothing about the border problem? Or about endorsing and participating in Israel's genocide?

@independentone Did you know Biden just proposed a huge change to asylum rules to "close the border," and also is advocating for a cease fire? Will it change your mind? Of course not! lol

Even if not, still nothing remotely as bad as Trump.
@Fukfacewillie So, it's taken him 3 1/2 years to even acknowledge the problem and now decides do do something about it, why because there is an election coming up?
Sorry, too little, too late
SumKindaMunster · 56-60, M
@Fukfacewillie Of course proposing is one thing, anyone can propose anything. Can he get it done?
Fukfacewillie · 56-60, M
@independentone I think you may just enjoy your nihilism a wee too much.

We're going to end up with a dictatorship because people think it's cool to not care.
Fukfacewillie · 56-60, M
@BohoBabe I think that's exactly right. You're well left of Biden I believe, but understand the stakes. Thank you!

@SumKindaMunster It started today, but it's not a total ban. It's a 2500 person max.

@Fukfacewillie Credit due, its a good start. Will it stand if Biden is re-elected? This, by far, is the best part:

To the dismay of migrant advocates, the seismic policy change attempts to upend U.S. asylum law, which allows migrants on American soil to request humanitarian protection, even if they cross the border illegally. But Biden administration officials have argued the asylum system is buckling under the weight of over 3 million pending applications, incentivizing migrants to come to the U.S. because it takes years to decide their cases.

This needs to be reformed. Too many people exploit the generous asylum policy of the United States and I am all in favor of ending it, with very specific exceptions.
Fukfacewillie · 56-60, M
@SumKindaMunster I totally agree. Asylum used to be for real political refugees, not just people who want to send dollars back home.
