Comparing Mr. Trump to Adolf Hitler is an insult to Hitler's victims. 👎🏼

@helenS That may be.. But since Trumps plays since 2016 have been straight out of the Nazi playbook, including quotes by Goebbels and Goering, I am actually more concerned at the number of Americans still willing to voice support for him.and what it says about Americas future. and calls into question its right to exist..😷

@helenS Not at all. We should learn from history. The real insult to the victims of Nazism would be to ignore all the warning signs of oncoming Authoritarianism.

@whowasthatmaskedman "Poison the blood of the Nation" straight from Mein Kampf.

@JimboSaturn Yep. And what's interesting is that his response to the blowback was that he didn't know that was from Hitler. But he's continued saying it. You'd THINK he'd avoid it. Nope. Worked for Hitler and he wants it to work for himself.

@Ynotisay His argument is literally, I didn't get my ideology from the original Nazis, I came to Nazism on my own.

@MarmeeMarch of course you don’t.
I suspect that even if Trump stood up and said “I am a White Supremacist!” you would see nothing that is in direct connection with the very definition of racism.

@SW-User White supremacism is a bad thing, but it's not what Adolf Hitler stands for. Adolf Hitler means: hundreds of thousands of people, naked, men, women and children, screaming and dying in gas chambers.
How anyone can related that to Donald Trump is a mystery to me 😐

@SW-User Sorry my reply wasn't about you. It was about those who compared Trump to Hitler in their replies because they are both "white supremacists".

@helenS no one should compare Trump to “Hitler”. I put it in quotations for a reason. Adolph Hitler wasn’t always the “Hitler” that brought on the death of so many people. In fact I wouldn’t even be surprised if Hitler didn’t kill a single person, he might’ve but we just don’t know. However, he started a rhetoric that caused others to kill over 6 million people. Thats the issue I have. I’m not American so I see everything from the outside and I’m seeing things being said by him that might not directly cause any issues but are either misinterpreted or properly interpreted by people who are doing things. For example Jan. 6th. I heard what he said and I can say I see why people interpreted it to mean what they did. Even if that wasn’t what he meant for them to do, he should have been smarter about what he said. He was the president of the United States and should know that with that position of authority, words matter and as the highest ranking person in the country should still be held responsible for what he says.
