Try to tell us you are not committing genocide without committing genocide

Terrorists on both sides. “They did it first” is no excuse.

I have frankly given up hope on any international body or collective voices being able to stop the mass murder in Gaza which has crossed 33000 by now and is continuing unabated. The way the Europian nations and America has supported it has been an eye opener on what to expect in real world with all this big talk of humanitarian aid etc of the developed nations. And there are still those who actually justify it. Especially in SW, there is a strong voice favouring Israeli excesses.

It’s not worth brooding or fretting over since we cannot change it.
But the next time they talk of humanity and social consciousness we can grin at their hypocrisy 😊

@WandererTony Did you read about the potential upcoming attack by Iran? Are you aware of the other fighting going on outside of Gaza? If so, maybe you should slow your roll about why other countries might be doing what they're doing. I'm sure there's some out there supporting what Israel is doing in Gaza. Which is horrific. But I don't think that's where the grown up heads are at.

@Ynotisay yes I am sadly aware of it all. Is that your response to 33000 killed including kids?
If that’s a grown up head, then perhaps grown up heads are undesirable to me.

reprehensible but doesn't even remotely qualify as genocide

The evidence is there but like everything else, there is not a Jewish fairytale that you will ever refuse to believe. The Jewish Babylonian Talmud says that the Romans killed and roasted 64,000,000 Jewish synagogue students. They preach that as the truth in today's world.
Reached for comment by CNN, the Israel Defense Forces said “violent riots were instigated in multiple locations in the area”
Interesting how they didn't say who instigated those riots. Phrasing like that is often used by people who did something themselves but don't want to admit it.

@NerdyPotato the article says it was “settlers”, but Israel has been caught lying in similar incidents. It does at least appear the idf was complicit, as they were unwilling to use force against the settlers to stop the raid. Btw, these raids are not new - but they are getting attention now.
@trollslayer I don't see the article mentioning the IDF said that. To me it sounded like that information came from Palestinian sources.

It's no surprise that Israelis started this as usual, and only mildly surprising that the IDF didn't fire at Israeli settlers though. Obviously they didn't want to hurt those, but they have hit their own before when they got a little too trigger happy. It's sort of good to see they at least worked up enough constraint to verify someone isn't a colleague before killing them.
I know, right? All I see is:

@LordShadowfire here is one from the 1950s. Sounds similar: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Qibya_massacre
