Parthenogenesis is where a female gives birth without male fertilization. The ovum starts to divide on its own and becomes a new organism. Parthenogenesis is theoretically impossible in humans, but if it did happen, the offspring would be female because it would have only XX chromosomes from the mother.

So it's clear that Jesus, if he had no human father, had no male Y chromosome, and was therefore a female who presented as male.
