After phone call with Biden, Israel is now reopening Erez crossing into northern Gaza

Do you think this has anything to do with what was said between Biden and Netanyahu?

Considering Israel has claimed for months that it cannot safely re-open crossings, and that it is not the one keeping aid out of Gaza, suddenly they have a change of tune right after Biden apparently made some level of threats towards Israel. I am inclined to think the two are related.

Question is: What do you think the threat was?
I'm sure at some point it will leak, and it will be very interesting.

The threat was that the US would stop providing mislaid to Israel if Israel didn’t allow humanitarian aid through to Gaza.

@justanothername Even if it wasn't explicitly stated by Biden, Netanyahu is well aware of the changing attitude in the USA and knows that is a potential real consequence.

@trollslayer Biden should have upped the ante a while back.
