On this holy weekend, one man is taking the Resurrection personally.

Donald Trump is presenting himself as the Man on the Cross, tortured for our sins. Instead of Christ-like redemption, he promises Lucifer-like retribution if resurrected.

similar. It frightens me a bit!

@LordShadowfire What have you got against Trump, personally? I am curious. You come across as a lot more stable than the rest of the bunnies here. I would be interested in your rationale.

I disagreed with the majority of policies he outlined in his campaign platform. That's the main thing.

Add to that his unprecedented rudeness to everybody, his repeated appeals to the most racist parts of America, his apparent sucking up to Putin, his buddying up to dictators, and his way of "convincing" people to commit major felonies for him, and he's just not presidential material.

Yet there is a dedicated support base that swears he is the second coming of Jesus.

The above are personality features that you have perceived as belonging to Trump. Do you have anything real against him? Which policies do you disagree with?

Who is presidential material?

His policies are a combination of foreign and domestic. Which ones are you against?
Add to that his unprecedented rudeness to everybody,
Is this even material? You insult me and others here in the course of your responses. I consider that freedom of expression. Are you that thin skinned. Even Biden is won't to laugh off Trump's insults. It's a manly man's way of talking. You don't wear high heels do you?
his repeated appeals to the most racist parts of America,
What racist parts? Do you mean manly white men?
his apparent sucking up to Putin, his buddying up to dictators,
Trump is an alpha male. Putin knows it, and so does Xi Jinping, KIm Jong Un, Erdogan. They are leaders and that includes every successful businessman in the world. These guys don't suck up to anyone the way American politicians (especially the warmongers) do.
and his way of "convincing" people to commit major felonies for him,
Felonies? When society is corrupt, imposters arise, and the law is hijacked. Sometimes "felonies" have to be committed to restore justice the way this guy in the video below did it.

No, those are observed behaviors which we've all seen.
Which policies do you disagree with?
Jfc... do I have to go and dig up his campaign platform?

Let's start with his idiotic wall idea. Impractical doesn't begin to describe it. Build a multi-billion dollar wall, and folks will dig under it or sail around it, and now you don't have any money left for boots on the ground and drones in the air.

I agreed with his promises to fix the infrastructure, cap the price of insulin, and come up with a better health care plan than the Affordable Care Act, but where did those promises go? It seems his campaign was built on disappearing platform planks.

"Make America Great Again" was stupid for multiple reasons. First, it assumed America was going in the wrong direction in the first place. I did not agree. Second, in practice, that translates to appealing to the racists, sexists, homophobes, and religious bigots.

There's more, but I cannot currently locate his campaign website from 2016. Most likely it's down.

Yeah, but I'm not the president. It's not my job to be diplomatic. It is his.
It's a manly man's way of talking.
No, it's an insecure child's way of talking.
You don't wear high heels do you?
Whatever, insecure child.
What racist parts? Do you mean manly white men?
If you don't know what a racist is at this stage in your existence, I'd say look in the mirror.
Trump is an alpha male.
So, you agree he's an insecure child.
Felonies?
Yes. Crimes he committed against his country.
When society is corrupt, imposters arise, and the law is hijacked.
Which is why we voted the imposter out in 2020.

@Handfull1 That's what an alpha male is. 😆

@LordShadowfire maybe I’m thinking more in the animal packs. Probably true there also! Lol
badlands · 22-25, F
@LordShadowfire If that is true, this is your perception of those observed behaviors. I am only one person, but I have not observed them. These are lies that began to be peddled by the media and by Trump's enemies in 2016. Why do you still believe it?

The US seems to have endless money. You have sent billions to Ukraine. Border walls are a priority and can be funded with money that is being spent on foreign endeavors. What do you propose is done about the border? Is it right to ignore the issues and hurt your fellow citizen through your apathy and your inaction? Isn't "impractical" better than nothing?

Prior to Trump, why do you think America was going in the right direction? Trump won the election, so it couldn't have been.

Who are the "racists, sexists, homophobes, and religious bigots"? Why are you a bigot if you want to make your country great again? I want to understand this.

@LordShadowfire Trump is being conspired against. He is subject to multiple court cases, and attempts to stop his campaign have been made. Have you seen the way the media lies about him? You call it good, professional people trying to hold this man to account, but all I can see are tyrants trying to destroy him. What I feel is that you are part of the system. The evidence for this is that you don't recognize how malevolent it is, and you seek to maintain it, choosing to vilify one man, the man who speaks out against it all. How can you hate Trump yet not hate the system and those in power?

Who has been historically discriminated against?

Logical fallacies are only ever used to avoid what is being said. This isn't a debate, and you can talk to me without the labels.

I was surprised the first time that woman on a bicycle giving the finger to the Trump presidential motorcade that went by. After that, the hate Trump frenzy went high gear and never stopped. It has become a mania.

It's all very strange. Trump hate is a psychological disease that has gone viral.

Prove it.
Have you seen the way the media lies about him?
Nope.
You call it good, professional people trying to hold this man to account, but all I can see are tyrants trying to destroy him.
So, you really, legitimately think that every established news network is part of a vast conspiracy against him.

Prove it.
The evidence for this is that you don't recognize how malevolent it is...
Your opinion isn't evidence.
Who has been historically discriminated against?
Minorities, dumbass.
Logical fallacies are only ever used to avoid what is being said.
So quit committing them.

You misspelled Trump worship.
sree251 · 41-45, M
@LordShadowfire My friend, you are my favorite Trump hater. If I could, I would have you shipped to the Wuhan lab for research into this viral American disease.
LordShadowfire · 100+, M
@sree251 The disease is blind worship of him, as you practice.

@LordShadowfire I said: "he is subject to multiple court cases, and attempts to stop his campaign have been made."

Is this not true? What makes you think this is not happening? It is on display in the media every day. People are using the law to go after Trump.

"So, you really, legitimately think that every established news network is part of a vast conspiracy against him."

I never said every news network. However, do you know many who have anything neutral or positive to say about Trump? Do you get the impression that they want him to be president? What do you think their rejection of him leads to? Fair reporting? Come on now. The media conspires against us all.

"Minorities, dumbass."

Who are they? Isn't everyone a minority? There is only one of you and one of me.

Only political discrimination exists. We have otherwise all been treated badly. Women comprise half of the population. What are we doing—discriminating against each other? Probably. Trump doesn't have anything to do with it. I have noticed that Trump treats people as they treat him.
