Taliban Vows It Is Returning To Stoning Women To Death In Public

The Taliban vowed in a message to the West over the weekend that it will soon return to stoning women to death in public.

“You say it’s a violation of women’s rights when we stone them to death,” said Mullah Hibatullah Akhundzada, according to The Telegraph. “But we will soon implement the punishment for adultery. We will flog women in public. We will stone them to death in public.”

“These are all against your democracy but we will continue doing it,” he continued. “We both say we defend human rights – we do it as God’s representative and you as the devil’s.”

The publication said that these remarks are the most extreme that he has made since the Biden administration effectively handed over control of Afghanistan to the Taliban during President Joe Biden’s disastrous withdraw from the country in August 2021.

The report noted that the Taliban reverted to its old extreme methods of punishment almost immediately after taking over, including carrying out public executions and beating people.

“Do women want the rights that Westerners are talking about? They are against Sharia and clerics’ opinions, the clerics who toppled Western democracy,” he said. “I told the Mujahedin that we tell the Westerners that we fought against you for 20 years and we will fight 20 and even more years against you.”

“It did not finish [when you left]. It does not mean we would now just sit and drink tea. We will bring Sharia to this land,” he continued. “It did finish after we took over Kabul. No, we will now bring Sharia into action.”

A U.N. report from last year found that 37 people had already been sentenced to stoning under the Taliban regime and that more than 100 had received sentences for “crimes against God”, according to Fox News. Some of the punishments included lashings and having walls knocked down on individuals.

Strangely enough, you right wing Republican crazies actually share many of the same beliefs as the Taliban. Think about that....

@sunsporter1649 You don't seem to care too much about this. MY guess is you secretly support the Taliban's policy.

Can we make suggestions? The Squad? The women on MSDNC and The View? Fani Willis?
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@sunsporter1649 I agree, we should have antifa militias ready to defend ourselves if the Republicans succeed in ending Democracy. The Republicans want America to be like Saudi Arabia. Conservatives are all the same, regardless of country.

Adultery only applies to the woman.
The male gets off without punishment.
Got it.

@AthrillatheHunt Actually it is strict Sharia Law....which the Taliban said would be the way they would rule the country.

@Lila15 you are not a athlete are you. Too funny. Run along with your petty bigotry.
Lila15 · 22-25, F
@hippyjoe1955 What difference does that make? Maybe since you’re not a professional athlete either, you shouldn’t express an opinion about this either. Especially since your opinion is based on your religious beliefs rather than any objective knowledge.

America's feminists do zip about what women face in places like Afghanistan.

No debate about transgender athletes in Afghanistan I guess. Lol

Obama never wanted to be there in the first place. Trump negotiated the pull out. Biden ordered it.

Which is why I believe had Sen. John McCain been elected, things would have transpired much differently in both Iraq and Afghanistan. So, too, had Mitt Romney been elected.
