Most US Conservatives think that the 2020 election was rigged.

So why bother standing in the next one? It doesn't make any sense, if you genuinely think that the system will be set against you.

Also, the Democrats rigged it extremely badly because they didn't give themselves a super-majority.

It's a case of people choosing to believe what they want. If all politicians are liars, then pick the lie you like the best. suspend disbelief, like you would watching a movie.

I think both sides do that. The same could be said about Dem voters and the Steele dossier.
@AthrillatheHunt The difference is that the elections actually are rigged against Democrats with the electoral college, gerrymandering, and voter-suppression laws.

@BohemianBoo it’s the entire system !!! 😂
@AthrillatheHunt Unironically, yes. And I gave examples.

@BohemianBoo both sides do the gerrymandering thing. And allowing non citizens to vote def qualifies as voter suppression .

@BohemianBoo letting non citizens vote suppresses the votes of citizens . And I thank you for admitting both sides gerrymander . Saying “they do it more “ is a bit childish .

Non-citizens voting doesn't stop citizens from voting.

No, because Democrats don't want to gerrymander. They're trying to ban it. But some of them have accepted that, until they're able to ban it, they have no choice buy to gerrymander too. Saying "they both do it" ignores the fact that Democrats are trying to end it.

@BohemianBoo a non citizen vote dilutes , or “suppresses” the votes of citizens .
When peoples actions are opposite their words (they do it , but they want to stop it ) I always believe the actions , not the words . That’s like republicans saying they want to end school shootings .

I mean, if words mean nothing, sure. Washing my balls suppresses the washing of my feet.

The difference is that Democrats actually have tried to end gerrymandering, but Republicans always vote against it. Hopefully one day the GOP will be so unpopular, that they'll lose despite gerrymandering, and then we can ban it. But in the meantime, we need to fight fire with fire.
Same goes for money in politics. We should drastically reduce how much people are allowed to donate, that way billionaires can't buy politicians. But in the meantime, Democrats have to take as much money as they can, or they'll never win against the GOP which is much more well-funded by the rich.
