America was a deliberate "good people's" place. That was probably its worst mistake. The good people created the Constitution and the rest is/was history.
If you are good nobody trusts you. If you are a sucker for yourself only, your life will look that way.
There's no "side" to be on. But morning is coming and you have a job to go to so get dressed and be on time...again.
And yeah there will probably be a shocking demented dictator in the WH in a few months, or this mumbling lost one will be back if we defeat the dictator.
Its all the same side though. Lost, clueless and mad as hell. Or too good for thou. Or saved by jebus.

@Greyjedi well the common knowledge is that Washington, Jefferson, Adams and the like were the best the world could offer so we learned that in school. We were being miseducated though. The truth is that they were stuffy old world deists and hypocrites re: civil rights and the rest is history, so to speak. But the idea here is no other country was so deliberately and CONSCIOUSLY initiated based on such learned evidence of such "goodness" (reasonable, judicious, well-discussed and well founded by philosophy...etc... and up to date.) We can all agree on that. Of course what really happened (instead) is everyone's problem now.
