Why do Republicans want “Civics” classes to replace “Social Studies” classes in schools?
Republicans hate all things civic-minded after all, it’s not like one of those subjects ought to be more friendly territory for right wingers than the other.

Didn't know they did, but then I wasn't sure they still had civics classes in school at all these days. But when I went to high school we had Civics -- a class that explained how the US government worked, from the local up through the state and finally the national level. No politics, just an explanation of the technical aspects of how the government works.
