Why do Republicans want “Civics” classes to replace “Social Studies” classes in schools?
Republicans hate all things civic-minded after all, it’s not like one of those subjects ought to be more friendly territory for right wingers than the other.

Hmm, well i'm not a republican what so ever, but do consider myself conservative by some historical political definitions. I don't have being civic minded; I actually think in my ideal world, everyone would know their neighbors and have really tight bonds. I think family stability feeds into your village, and a happy village feeds into a happy broader peoples group.
