Are the Democrats following in the Republican trend of using misinformation by claiming Trump's words "blood-bath" clearly out of context?

"Now, if I don't get elected, it's gonna be a bloodbath for the whole -- that's gonna to be the least of it -- it's gonna be a bloodbath for the country. That'll be the least of it," I'm not sure how else to read this. He launches into non-sequitors all the time. What does bloodbath have to do with the auto industry?

@JonLosAngeles66 The argument I keep hearing from the right is that he meant it’ll be an economic bloodbath…metaphorical speech only. But I’m with you…those words don’t fit with the subject in any way other than to incite a feeling of fear and a need to bring violence.
