What are the chances that Nikki Haley runs as an independent after she loses the nomination?

Ugh, idk. I'm generally a fan of hers over President Biden or President Trump. But as an independent she serves no purpose. If she joined a third party and can get them over 15% then she serves the purpose of breaking up the duopoly of our two party system.

No Labels is desperate for a candidate after Hogan and Manchin turned them down, so they could approach Haley. She’s laying the groundwork by saying she’s no longer bound by her agreement to support the Republican nominee.

Won’t matter. An independent can’t win an election in this system. 🤷🏻‍♂️. But you’re right, she will absolutely lose the nomination.

The Florida Marlins have a better shot at winning the World Series than her running as an independent.

They'll buy her off if it becomes clear Trump has an unassailable majority.

Difficulty comes of course if Trump doesn't have a clear majority mandate.

I don't understand why she does not say that now and use her funding to drive that campaign.

Haley needs $s to run as an independent. There's currently some MAGA money, a lot of money, is going into the Kennedy campaign, so it's a matter of finding some anti-MAGA money to go into her campaign. I think she pretty much said she's not going to endorse Cheeto Benito.

That aside, she's a worse candidate than Trump, if she wins.
