If you're an American who self identifies as a patriot, who would fight for this country...

I hope you get deployed soon, and unable to come back. But I won't hold my breath since it's not very likely.

I’m an American and have already fought for this country

@Ramon67 Where did you fight?
Ramon67 · 61-69, M
@sree251 desert storm
sree251 · 41-45, M
@Ramon67 That was a 43 day war of shock and awe. Overwhelming force. It was like Mike Tyson beating up a 6 year-old.

@sree251 regardless I was there . There was never any level of degree of fighting .
sree251 · 41-45, M
@Ramon67 I don't think you had a choice. I am happy for you that it was not Vietnam.

@sree251 Vietnam ended in 1975 I believe and I joined in 1979 .

@Ramon67 Do you still believe that it is worthwhile to serve and die for whatever you are told?

@sree251 I served because I wanted to . No one forced me .
sree251 · 41-45, M
@Ramon67 You wanted to and no one forced you? In that case, you did it for selfish reasons. You fought for yourself if you did fight at all.

@sree251 how am I selfish ? I did it as part of my patriotic duty
