That is a huge list for me and I have had friends that made a HUGE difference in my life. The athletes: Jesse Owens (I actually met) Bill Russell Roger Brown I have known of Denzel since his first movie “Soldier’s Story” 1984. I do remember 1968 Olympics where the two black runners held their head down and fists up on the podium. I was 9. Marine Gunnery Sargent Leland who led me in the SeaBees. Friends who had my back when it was their choice. Just way too many to name how many I personally admire.
