I'm not a Trump supporter, but we should never want the Supreme Court to "listen to the people," but instead always rule on the law and the interpretation of The Constitution of the United States.

@calicuz so they took trump off the ballot, if they cry for state sovereignty, take the good and the bad. Trumpers need to suck it up.

That's kinda why we need the Supreme Court to rule on this matter.
On the one hand we have the States who have thier sovereignty, yet have the duty to give all voters the opportunity to vote for which ever candidate they want to vote for. Under the law, we can only vote in our County of residence, if the candidate we want to vote for isn't on the ballot, we as voters are being denied our constitutional right to vote.
Leaving a candidate off the ballot could be interpreted as a form of voter suppression. IMHO of course, because I'm not a Constitutional Attorney.
