I wish I were as eloquent and well-spoken as this woman

This is from last month but is still extremely relevant to the war today.

She makes some good points about stumbling blocks to peace that are not being considered, but I think she fails to validate concerns from others and address Israeli actions that have contributed to this strife. She paints Israeli as this "glimmer of democracy" in a harsh middle east, and many, many other feel that is simply not true. It would help if Israelis and their apologists took a step back and asked themselves why.

I don't think there will be any lasting peace until Israelis accept that they won their independence doing exactly the same thing to Arab villages that Hamas did to Israel on Oct 7th. Perhaps that will humble them enough to understand they are not perfect and do not need to act like they are.

She's a bit verbose and relies on too many "uh" conversation extenders. I would advise her to be more concise with her points, a little less swaying back-and-forth, and less handwringing motions. She makes good eye-contact with her audience and come across as confident especially with the rowdy members of the audience. The guy behind her when she is giving her prepared remarks needs to exercise some portion control so his belly doesn't stick out so much if he intends to spend time on camera. It's distracting.

I find it interesting the woman who asked "where is the evidence of the 7 October massacre..." shows how brainwashing works... in action.
