My faith in the judiciary system, and in American justice, is now permanently damaged. I will NEVER trust the law again.

@4meAndyou That's why you need to hide your religious and political beliefs. This administration and democrats in general are quite comfortable turning the systems of government against their opposition. In many ways, things are getting to be similar to Germany 1939, Russia 1917, 1960's Cuba, and Venezuela almost all the time.

@carpediem I agree. I NEVER talk about my politics in RL. AND even though people are aware that I am affiliated with a church, here, where I live, I don't talk about it too much. I am hiding my light under a bushel, and maybe God does not approve of that, but I am no warrior, and no martyr.

@4meAndyou Thanks. Fortunately I don't teach history, politics or anything that wanders into those areas. If students feel strongly that "this group is Nazis" or "that gender is superior" I just comment on the grammar and word use and don' worry about their personal opinions. We all have them and students are more than welcome to speak freely, but I just don't prefer to have to defend my opinions from people who want to call me names for disagreeing.
I suspect that politics have skewed some promotions and tenure decisions but since I'm adjunct, none of that applies to me anyway.

@4meAndyou you naioed it, leftists are marxists, and fascists projecting fascism onto their victims and the claim of a party switch is nothing but senseless gaslighting.
