My prediction is scotus sends colorado decision back to states.

Overturning the decision clearly violates section 2, article 1 of the constitution that explicitly states that states are responsible selecting their electors.

This has nothing to do with selecting electors and will almost certainly be overturned by SCOTUS

@Onestarlitnight sure it does states determine how they select electors. Electors vote for president.
@trollslayer
Trump isn’t an elector, he’s a candidate, one has nothing to do with the other.
It’s about allowing his name on state ballots for president not as an elector

@Onestarlitnight trumps name isnt on the ballot to begin with in the general election. You vote for electors who will cast a vote for you, not the candidate. The state determines what how electors are selected.
@trollslayer
This ruling is not about electors in any way shape or form.
It’s about whether or not Trump should be allowed to run for president on the state ballot.
When you step in the voting booth trumps name WILL be on the ballot if he’s the republican nominee for president.
Just like Bidens name will be listed as the democrat candidate.

@Onestarlitnight wrong. The electors names are in the ballot, as that is who you are voting for. The candidate who the electors are pledged to is for voter convenience only.
@trollslayer
They are trying to keep Trump off of the republican primary ballot and they will fail, this will be overturned by SCOTUS and if trump wins the republican primary in Colorado and is selected as the nominee by the Republican Party his name will appear on the ballot in the general election in November.
