Why did the Dems choose to go after Nixon for Watergate, and not for the illegal bombings in Cambodia and Laos?

You have to understand, Cambodia and Laos were more of crimes that our government committed, not the president. Very hard to prosecute.

@LordShadowfire Nixon and Kissinger were caught. On tape. And Congress specifically outlawed war in SE Asia in neutral countries. Just in case they'd try it.

@Roundandroundwego Still hard to prosecute. They can't have that sort of precedent being set. Future world leaders might have been held responsible for their war crimes.
