Does anyone believe Biden will win in 2024?

I would like to make a bet on it but I can't get any takers!

Americans should pray they find a significantly better candidate than either Biden or Trump.

@Josh1454 I'm not sure it gets much better than Biden. In spite of what the Trump cult likes to pretend, the economy is better than it's been in a few years, and the job placement rate is better than it's been in half a century.

As to the reason prices keep going up, that's a combination of things. The price of oil worldwide keeps going up because the oil companies are greedy, and because of the sanctions on Russian oil. That pretty much affects the price of anything that has to be shipped. And then there's the fact that Trump surreptitiously passed legislature reducing regulations on large retailers, so they can raise prices to increase their profits without a good reason. The price of groceries does not reflect the actual cost anymore.

@LordShadowfire I feel there is always better. Sadly, we’re seeing poor leadership here as well in Canada. I’m not one of those people that believes in the left or right wing of politics. I’m a person who knows that there are ideas on both sides that if combined would work better than the current political system. There even ideas that we haven’t instituted yet that would be better. However, you have a lot of people who are afraid. Sadly, the concept of freedom in North America and pretty much everywhere no longer really exists. We have the illusion of freedom. We can buy more than our grandparents ever could. However, that’s not true freedom. I feel politics has become like pro-wrestling. On screen they’re enemies but behind closed doors they all get along and are all the exact same. People will say Trump wasn’t the same but he is. We know he is because that’s how business men are.

@Josh1454 I'm not sure where you're seeing poor leadership in the United States. I'm pretty pleased with the progress Biden has made. He got a bipartisan infrastructure bill passed, capped the price of insulin, which costs practically nothing to make but pharmaceutical companies were charging an arm and a leg for, and created more jobs than any other president in the last 50 years.

If your bitсһ with Biden is about the economy, it's actually recovering. Prices are sky high in part because of deregulation implemented by the last president, inmate number P01135809. They're also high because the global price of oil is high, which many people seem to think is under the control of the president of the United States.

@LordShadowfire poorly might’ve been the wrong word. I can see how both sides feel they are properly represented and how they wouldn’t see it as poor. And this isn’t just a North American problem but most politicians do not represent all the people of their country and they should. Maybe that is impossible. However, every party should do their best to understand their opposition. A system that doesn’t try and understand every constituent is failing. I will say it appears Biden is doing a better job of trying to understand both sides and represent them. People will disagree and say they aren’t represented by him. However, until we get rid of a system that can so easily be bought the people will lose.

@Josh1454 Well, I agree that politicians don't actually do what's best for the common people unless you make them. Biden is in it for his own purposes, just like any other politician. We just have to make it clear to these people that if they want to keep their jobs, they need to do what they're told.

@Josh1454 The election will come down to the choice of candidates for vice president. Everyone expects that if re-elected, Joe will be in a memory care facility within months, and that Trump, if re-elected, will be consumed with fights with the media wing of the Democrat party masquerading as news organizations.

Much like McCain's run for the presidency fell short because the Democrat media masquerading as news agencies ganged up on Palin, and McCain's horrible campaign; the 2024 election will have Biden in that hot seat with the American people ganging up on Harris and pointing out Biden's lies that are beyond the ability of the Democrat media wing's ability to hide.

There are very few, maybe no Democrat potential vice president contenders that would top 40% nation wide favorability. Meanwhile, there are a half dozen Republicans that would top 60% favorability.

This election will come down to which is the best ringmaster to highlight their VP choices. Both Trump and Biden have issues as ringmasters. With Biden, the criminals are running the show. With Trump, he has difficulty controlling the clowns and the spotlights. But considering the potential VP candidates, advantage Trump!

@Josh1454 democrats shouldn't be allowed on the ballot.
Josh1454 · M
@Baremine this is exactly the problem. This type of thinking. You know that there are probably more people who feel the same way about republicans and their opinion is just as valid as yours. Essentially you’re part of the problem and not the solution. You’ll sit there saying stuff like Socialism shouldn’t be allowed and in the same breath say everyone should think like you, which is essentially socialism.
@Josh1454 Stein would be different. And she's coherent.

@Roundandroundwego I understand that but she has no chance at all of winning.
