FBI Director Makes Stunning Border Statement – You Won’t Believe He Said These 4 Words

"During a House subcommittee hearing on Wednesday, FBI Director Christopher Wray said he couldn’t “speak to” the sharp increase of individuals on the terror watch list crossing the border.

“Why do you think in the four years before this, there were only 11?” asked House Homeland Security Subcommittee on Counterterrorism, Law Enforcement, and Intelligence Committee member Mark Green. “And suddenly, there are 294 in the past few years, why do you think that?”

“I can’t really speak to, you know, to that issue,” Wray responded. “it’s not in my lane.”

FBI doesn't control the borders thats the Border Protection Service.

it isn't in his lane.

he's has to worry about them once another agency lets them in.

@Pretzel So there are nor raghead terrorists crossing the wide open border, eh?

@sunsporter1649 I'm not sure what the hell your comment has to do with mine

@Pretzel You're kidding, right?
Pretzel · 70-79, M
@sunsporter1649 not even a little

I'm saying that the responsibility of letting people in the border isn't the FBI it's another governmental agency

and I said absolutely NOTHING about whether there were dangerous people crossing the border

but you might as well ask the FDA or SEC why - they don't have the duty to control the borders either.

If the subcommittee wants to know why then they should ask the agency in charge of securing the border

now if there are crimes committed by terrorists withing the borders the FBI may have juridiction on the investigation

but then it won't be the job of the Border folks to investigate it.

@Pretzel Is that the same fbir that can't find hunters laptop or epstein's list, or some other fbir?
Pretzel · 70-79, M
@sunsporter1649 nope. it's the "fbir" that doesn't have the authority or duty to patrol the borders.

@Pretzel I believe the FBI deals with national security and intelligence and counterterrorism etc.

@Pretzel illegal crossing and being a terrorist is a crime on US soil

@Pretzel government agencies can and will do what the President or officials in his administration tell them to do.
