@sunsporter1649 You asked about Trump's casinos? $1.5 billion in losses🤣😂🤣😂
During a decade when other casinos here thrived, Mr. Trump's lagged, posting huge losses year after year. Stock and bondholders lost more than $1.5 billion.

@ElwoodBlues His is probably the only casino in history to ever lose money, how freaking useless do you have to be to NOT make money running a business that always makes money for the house? 🤪

@ElwoodBlues Probably because the State of Reno wouldn't give him a casino license! 🤪 I'm being facetious of course as there's no proof that he ever even applied for a license but he certainly hasn't proven that he deserves one either.

@spjennifer According to Quora, it's payback for one of Trump's dirty deeds.
Back in the 80s, when Atlantic City was in its heyday, Donald Trump was the big shot in that city. He carried a lot of clout. He had a tremendous amount of influence and the major resort of Atlantic City, Trump Taj Mahal. During this period,. a Las Vegas casino owner by the name of Steve Wynn decided he wanted to open a resort casino in Atlantic City. The only problem he ran into was his inability to get a gaming license. Seems Mr. Trump used his considerable influence to make sure his rival did not get the gaming license. He was successful. Mr Wynn was denied his gaming license.
So he scrapped his plans and focused on Las Vegas — selling his ownership of the Golden Nugget downtown and first building the Wynn Resort, followed by the Encore Resort. Both of the Resorts set new standards in the resort industry — a standard that all the other resorts try to match.
Now fast-forward 25 years. Atlantic City is a ghost town — a shell of its former glory. But Las Vegas has continued to grow and prosper. Enter Mr. Trump and his massive ego. He breaks ground and is building the Trump International. This is originally being built and sold as a high rise condo complex. But the economy and real estate in particular are in the tank, meaning no buyers. So it was converted into a hotel. What does a hotel in Vegas need.? A casino, of course. First order of business is that gaming license. Well, some people don't forget the past. And you guessed it — Mr Wynn, who is the man in Las Vegas, decided to show that turn about is fair play. He used his clout and influence and returned the favor. Mr Trump was never able to procure his gaming license.
That is the true behind-the-scenes reason why the Trump International in Las Vegas has no casino.

@ElwoodBlues The Riviera, Lucky Dragon Las Vegas,

@ElwoodBlues Dunno, I might classify that as "fake news" but it is definitely possible, just there's no evidence tRump ever applied for a license.
