@KiwiBird look up the group, seeds of peace.

@KiwiBird This is such a beautiful and powerful image.
KiwiBird · 36-40, F
@sarabee1995 Yes totally. ☮

KiwiBird · 36-40, F
I don't disagree 🤗🤗
However...

Both sides in this coflict are praying to the God of Abraham.

Ishmael was the firstborn of Abraham, born to him from his Egyptian Servant Hagar as his wife Sarah was supposedly barren and his descendants are in effect Palestinian and other arab groups

Isaac the Son of Sarah first Sons were Esau and Jacob the latter's descendants became the Jewish people.

Hard to pick a side based on their God
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@Soossie perhaps, but it was allegedly based on the Abraham on the Bible. As far as I can find anyway. The map of the area prior to the destruction of the temple in the second century BCE is really very interesting. I have always wondered why what is now called Israel was always so strategically important. There is more mythology related to that than a theological "facts."

I meant to write, archeological not theological, that was a "Freudian" slip.
@samueltyler2

By the signs in the Bible, what is now called Israel is the promised land of the prophet Moses to all Jewish people ..
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@Soossie the words Jewish people don't really exist in the "Bible."At least not in the scrolls found that are the oldest version of the tenach.

Additionally, it was Jacob whom assigned the land to his sons.

People don't want war. Why do we have these greedy leaders who don't care?
@KatSch You have put this so well. Exactly. We want peace so why wars?
@KatSch The sad thing is that some DO want war.

And fighting/starting a war to try to stay in power (part of Putin's reasons, often the case for dictators or wannabe dictators) is even more heinous.
Amen sister. Beautiful post.

I can't disagree, but when hasn't this (politicians who misuse their power) been so?

I think we know more about today than we did even 30-40 years ago, but politicians have been doing this since the beginning of time... and proclaimed they were doing it for (their) God.

@Ontheroad Yep, it's no news flash, there is nothing new under the sun.

and then there are the animals that make money from the arms deals.

Soossie ... Wow ... I agree with everything you've said here.

This is very much how i feel. Innocents are dying and both sides feel that is acceptable. The focus is anger and destruction and vengeance and no good can come from that - their only aim is the destruction of the other side. There is so much hatred that i feel picking a side means you are condoning their actions and you are not hoping for peace.

Thank you for this.
@Coldplay

Thank you .. 🤗

Who funds these people?
@Dino11

Cartels and investors …
It's not politics. It's genocide and we as human spiece should have the courage to call it a systematic genocide of Palestinians. Finally, the world knows the real truth, even the global elites and Hollywood as well. Zionist are the real terrorist and it's not at all equal to hating Jews, like how they have always spined the narrative to hide theirs barbarism of 75 years. The good development is that, even Jews are calling it to end for peace.

This new global generation has collectively put the Zionist and their political supporter at back foot. I see a bright future when this young generation will end in office.
Virgo79 · 61-69, M
You're on a rant!😳
And i understand it,lol
NerdySoph · 26-30, F
Politician's power only exist when people believe and follow in their path.
To stop that, people need to stop believing in politicians and their many lies, engineered only to garner power and wealth.
But that is not going to happen anytime soon on this planet, no matter in which land or continent or country.

The only thing we can really do, is hope and talk to a higher power and keep ourselves in check, away from corruption, evil and stupidity.
Whatever that higher power may be. God, aliens, whatever people believe in.
gol979 · 41-45, M
@NerdySoph correct. Their power is an illusion. Enforced by violence, control of narrative, oligarchy, technocracy, stealth eugenics. They also give the "solution"......voting. Voting is now a fully fledged part of the illusion, and its an interactive part. Its very clever actually. (If "clever" is the correct word?)
Barebum61 · 61-69, M
They also create black markets
Yep, but isn't it too easy to put all the blame on leaders? Every one of us is capable of being a coward. Every one of us must be held responsible for their choices, their words, their actions.

People in Gaza are dying under rubble and no one can even save them. Thousands are fleeing in the streets even old people that can’t walk and they’re still being targeted. Dogs are eating the remains of the dead in the streets. This is happening thanks to our world leaders that do not give a damn about humanity. It’s just heartbreaking.
