Democrats have been alienating their own base

Democrats have been alienating their own base. Recently many Jews, but before that many whites, many heterosexuals (mostly men back then but women now too). Then they alienated blacks with increase in crime in their neighborhood and females seeing transgenders over taking them (mostly in sports, for now, i.e. some controversy in women's chess now too). Recently they alienated Muslims with their lgbtq+ school curriculum. And most recently Jews with the increase in antisemitism.

I don't claim to predict who will win next presidential election, but it does not look good for democrats.

I've never voted Republican. I have voted Democrat in the past, in the very distant past, not in recent elections however.

(1) Democrats are not monolithic. The don't have a single leader whose voice drowns out all the rest. Democrats have a big tent containing many points of view, and not all in agreement.

(2) I have yet to see a shred of evidence that either blacks or jews or homosexuals who formerly supported democrats are now supporting republicans. If you've got the evidence, please present it. If your response is "do your own research," that's further admission you don't have a shred of evidence.

(3) Elections don't happen in a vacuum; there is a choice among imperfect candidates. The real question in 2024 will be who looks worse, trumpsters or democrats. Nobody I knew was enthusiastic about Biden in 2020; we voted for Biden to block Trump. Since losing in 2020, Trump has only strengthened the case against him.

(4) If you've never voted republican and stopped voting democratic, then feel free to continue throwing your vote away on candidates who won't affect outcomes or policy. Makes no difference to me.

@ElwoodBlues "Dallas mayor switches parties, making the city the nation’s largest with a GOP mayor"
@sunsporter1649
Dallas Has The 7th Highest Homicide Rate In The U.S.
Do you believe changing parties will affect that sky high homicide rate???

@ElwoodBlues "Five of this year’s party switchers involved House Democrats becoming Republicans, reflective of the fact that in recent history the GOP has seen more converts. Since 1994, 173 state lawmakers have switched parties: 83 of those were Democrats who became Republicans, while just 23 Republicans became Democrats."
@sunsporter1649 Ducking the question, LOL!!!
