@Burnley123 I like to think I was a leftist in spirit back then 😌 But no, I only know about it historically, though my dad as a university professor was opposed to the war and there was a lot of campus protest at the time, just like today.

Every single war apart from WW2 has been condemned by history but most people think that the current one is different.
Most people know that Iraq was a disaster now but at the time most of them were dunking on anti-war people. The pattern repeats over and over again. You basically need to understand imperialism to get geopolitics and that is why the left can call things where others can't.
