@samueltyler2 I know the history. It is not about who is right and who is wrong. It is about facing a brutal force intent on killing you. Perhaps,the Texans had no right to be at the Alamo. They don't deserved to be surrounded and slaughtered.

@samueltyler2 No, I do not defend violence. Teenagers have killed abusive parents. I don't defend that either. I believe that the Arabs have been living under Israeli occupation and oppression since 1948. Their recent outburst of resistance was suicidal. You are an old guy. If some young thugs broke into your home and you attacked them regardless of the futility of your resistance, would I fault you for doing them harm? Now, they want to maim you and the US says it's ok because they have the right to self-defense.

@sree251 Poor history on your part, and poor analogy. Arabs declared war on Israel as soon as the independent state was declared. The Arabs that chose to fled, did so both because they didn't want to live in Israel, and some may have been "casualties" of the war. The Arabs that wanted to live in peace in Israel do so as Israeli citizens. They have the same legal rights as Jews living in Israel, they do not live under occupation. Saying they have lived under occupation since 1948 denies the right to existence of the state.
