Although what NY State is doing to the trump organization as a whole is a good thing,

We need a US attorney General, DOJ, FTC and SEC with the courage to take the same kind of actions on WALL STREET in a fast action bold way. Even if it does have a 4-6 month negative impact on the stock market by crumbling a multi bullion dollar corporate giant to the grount over over 30-90 days

With the high probability of indictments of boards executives and possibly corporate legal staff unsealed by late Friday night Saturday morning armed Swat team raid arrests with companies that resist antitrust enforcement or attempt delay tactics while they try to buy the next Trumps who willing to obstruct justice.

That's not a Nazi idea. That's a LAW&ORDER idea. The same "law&order" Trump claims to be about. It's what should have happened in the aftermath of Enron or during the Tyson foods illegal employment scandal.

Where that gets a little tricky is that there really are a lot of fines and charges against corporations. But the cost is built in to their operating cake. They know they're going to get sued or charged for doing shady stuff. The DOJ has a corporate crime division but it's overwhelmed. Only solution I see is MUCH MUCH stricter laws and, like you said, immediate actions that don't allow for delay delay delay. And as part of the laws I'd like see a prison as a much more viable option. Don't let them buy their way out of crimes. That would be the wake up call.

@Ynotisay I agree we need some tougher laws. We also need tougher enforcement and harsher penalties.

Like x amount of time under a receivership style price management control in addition to harsh fines. Corporate penalties are NOT SUPPOSED TO BE AFFORDABLE nor are they necessarily supposed to be financially survivable. They are supposed to be as PROPORTIONALLY painful on a company like GE GM or Amazon as combined felony DUI costs are on a minimum wage income earner after prison.

If a person treats speeding tickets and high insurance premiums like a regular part of the cost of owning a fast car and continues driving way to fast, they eventually loose their drivers license. Rogue companies that play the system like thay need to be brought down with the RICO statutes and could if the DOJ grew some courage.
