I'm a white liberal and I don't hate my own race.

I've seen different political posts talking about race and I wanted to say I'm not a white supremacist but I don't think my own race should be held accountable for things are ancestors did. I know that the Native American Genocide, slavery, and Jim Crow are wrongs that happened in U.S History. I do think past wrongdoings should be talked about and not censored, I'm also ok with Black History Month. I am against hate crimes no matter who is doing it and I believe in Police Reform but not abolishing the police. I wish everyone would be nicer to each other, Jesus loves all of us no matter the race, so we should love each other too.

@Diotrephes And that settled that. For right or wrong what was done 100 years ago....was done 100 years ago . No slaves are still alive and no slave owners are still alive. To make following generations "guilty" of what a previous generation did is stupid.

@anythingoes477 How old are you, 10? Have you forgotten how your parents went to segregated schools and fought against admitting Black students to universities?

Are you ignorant about the racism that exists in the criminal justice system by Whites this very minute against Blacks and other minorities?

@Diotrephes I haven't forgotten anything. Racism exists..........should not.......but it does and most likely always will. But that wasn't the discussion. Your take is if someone's grandfather killed someone ...then the grandkid should go to prison for it. And that is just stiupid. And that IS ur take on paying now for what happened 100 years ago.
