If you were president. how would you make the economy better?

You could do a lot worse that closing all the business tax avoidance loopholes for a start.
Same with wealthy individuals who put their assets in their children's names thus also avoiding tax.

Build that bloody wall on the southern border. Enough talk, if you seriously think that's the source for your illegal immigration and subsequent 'cost to the economy', get it done and put military bases along it to keep it secure.

Create a law that says anyone getting government funding to become a Doctor has to devote two years to public service medicine on qualifying.
Same with Lawyers.
Same with Veterinarians.
These people make fortunes in their professional lives it wouldn't hurt them to see life on the other side and do some good.

Standardise education and kill the stupidity going on in Florida/Texas et al Because clearly education is a weapon to keep the poor continuously poor, and the dim even more so.

Create standards for anyone wanting to 'represent the people' because if there are any, many have no respect for them.
At ALL levels ! From parish councils all the way up to the President.
That way you give a yardstick by which to measure your representatives. NOT one defined by whoever controls your state.
Maybe then, and only then can you consider NOT having to set term limits.

Build healthcare centres and hospitals.......at the same rate you build your prisons.
