Change the salaries of the Politicians so they'll be paid the same as those in the Dole.
Schools and Hospitals would be moved to the top of the list for the yearly budget. And Military funding would be moved to the bottom.
Everyone would be taxed the same not matter the income. So no tax breaks for anyone. Religious institutions will be included in this too.

@Thevy29 I agree with most of what you're saying, but military should go to the middie or top 10 in spending. Just look at China, Russia and any other country that wants us gone.
Let me add: We can stop giving money to countries that dont like us. Just stop helping them in any way. Cut back on active military bases overseas, specifically Europe. Let allies have a base or two here and charge them what we're charged.
Politicians should have to show their tax returns and their bankaccounts. Kinda like to know how you went from making minimum wage, or in AOCs case, less than as a bartender, to a multimillionaire in less that 2 years. The second you have 1 million in the bank, you pay for your security and your own healthcare.
No politicians can be a lifer. Three terms, thats it and you cannot run once you hit 65. You retire and live in your district. That way you have to live with your voters and your choices.
Schools and hospitals absolutely go to the top on the finacial food chain. But, like politicians lets see your books, and show receipts. Why is that teacher making less than 30k a yr, and that hospital administrator making 100k? Also, lets see what the hospital suppliers are charging the hospitals, etc....
I like the idea of a flat tax myself. As far as religious institutions getting taxed, no. Main reason is if they are taxed, then the government has control of that religion.
Get rid of the ⁹/¹⁰ that is listed when we get gas.
We drill our own gas, thats keep the prices down. Food and good cist a lot more primarily bc diesel to the trucks that carry it all has gone up a lot in the last 3 years. Drilling our own will bring it down.
We bring more of our mfg businesses back to the US. Do primary business with contries that actually are our friends. Give tax breaks to small businesses, give incentives to big businesses that hire qualified people.
Spending bills are posted for 30 days so everyone can read it. Also, no pork on each bill, only what each bill is going towards. And show who voted for / against it.
