I certainly have not found this to be true.
Are there some Republicans that are mean and stupid? Yes
Are there some Christians that are mean and stupid? Yes
Are there some Democrats that are mean and stupid? Yes
Are there some atheists that are mean and stupid? Yes
However to make a blanket statement that any of these groups are mean and stupid shows a lack of critical thinking or intentional malice
