Although I highly doubt it'll happen in my lifetime.

I do hope they'll be a society without a government or any form of hierarchy and all workers own the means of production

It will never happen. Nor should it.
Guitarman123 · 31-35, M
@Ceinwyn why shouldn't it happen?
Ceinwyn · 26-30, F
@Guitarman123 Because it has no answers or solutions to the needs of a people.

Under anarchy there is no way of maintaining protection from criminals or unfriendly nations. There’s no way of maintaining a universal education, no way of providing for people too old or ill to work, no way of protection from natural disasters or national emergencies.

Anarchy is a pipe dream of people who are bitter that they haven’t made more of their lives under the current system.

@Ceinwyn the answer is abolish the state and hierarchy ae it oppresses regular people. Theirs no protection from criminals now as police are absolutely useless and financed by the exploitative capitalist system. Earning what you need from working in Co operation with your fellow man is a pretty good reason to work ae it's unalienated labour.
Ceinwyn · 26-30, F
@Guitarman123 You just proved my point got having no answer for any of those scenarios.
Guitarman123 · 31-35, M
@Ceinwyn if you want to deliberately misunderstand or ignore what I'm saying then that's up to you. If somebody in a Co operative lead community thought that committing a crime without being punished is possible then that shows the naivety of that person

@FaithfulTalia Okay. So based on your understanding of anarchism, answer the scenarios I listed in my first reply. If you can do so I’ll accept what you’re saying.🙂

Earning what? If it's money then there must be a manufacturer of that money, and that almost by definition must be centralised. If it's not money then say goodbye to all the things that make life worth living, no one can finance the building of a plant to produce solar panels or wind generators by barter.

@ninalanyon earning money to be able to live and have fulfilled existences. Ye can when working in common

@FaithfulTalia Yeah that’s not going to cut it I’m afraid. If you won’t answer my points I’ll assume you can’t and therefore my position remains the same.

Your dream for the world doesn’t address crime, antisocial behaviour, external threats, poor health/sickness/disabilities, tribalism or corruption.
