Consummate professionals or 7-year-old kids?

Government says: We want to save you money and help calm the earth. The DOE finalized regulations prohibiting certain light bulbs over their low energy efficiency levels. According to the DOE announcement, the regulations are projected to save consumers an estimated $3 billion per year on utility bills and cut carbon emissions by 222 million metric tons over the next three decades.

GOP says: Can't tell us what to do.

Well I like LED for the office as they are brighter. But at home incandescent are def more calming and “softer” light. I have several co- workers that get migraines from led lights at work. We had to buy additional filters that block out the blue light from the led. So it’s not for everybody. I do think ppl should have a choice. Just my opinion but it’s like because some ppl use too much salt in their diet and get heart issues, the govt outlawing salt. One size is not an answer for everything.

@Rickinnc You can buy full spectrum LED lights which are similar to sunlight. I use them all winter when I bring my plants in for the winter. I have several in my office right now.
