MLK is just as inconvenient for conservatives.
@SW-User I’m far from being a conservative, but I’d argue he’s much more inconvenient to a modern day political movement that’s fixated on categorizing people into hierarchical groups based on race, gender, sexual orientation, etc. Identity politics has sadly become the backbone of the modern day democrat party. All of the core liberal values of today directly contradict what MLK believed.

@ToastyPickles well not being American i don't have to answer for the Democratic party (or assess the accuracy of your portrayal). I agree with you that categorizing people into hierarchical groups is neither what i would like to see nor what i think Dr. King stood for.
