@billybcgn25 despite your sarcasm, you are right. The 2020 election [i]was [/i] pristine (despite a few proven instances of [i]Republican [/i] voter fraud and an attempt by Trump to overturn the result in Georgia. The 2024 election will be just as clean (especially as there was no problem with 2020) and, yes, Biden [i]will[/i] receive considerably more than 81 million votes. Most of the American public see Trump for what he is, and will know that for democracy to continue, Biden is the only option.

@akindheart I suspect that Trump will win the nomination (although anything is possible) But I firmly believe that should he win and run. (He may still pocket the money and pull out) his candidacy will doom the republicans. The majority of US voters want Trump in the Big House; not the White House..😷

I'm through picking the lesser of two evils. The Dems really aren't better the Trump.

@BohemianBoo Again, I agree that Christie is the "AntiTrump" And as such the alternative view point. But I dont see Trump withdrawing unless actually disqualified, which I dont see happening.There isnt a solid legal case for insurrection charges..And thats where the 14th Amendment comes in..What I do see that the published numbers show is that while everyone but Christie is $h*t scared of Trump and his glued on base, the whole Republican vote is not going to win anything..Except the nomination for Trump. The anti Trump vote got Biden elected last time. And will do so again, maybe bigger.. I hate the idea of another Biden term.. But I believe America hates the idea of another Trump term even more. In terms of economics I can give you a logical reason why the Republicans shouldnt mind sitting out the next term or two. Its not going to be pretty and they can blame the Dems. But frankly I dont give them credit for that much forethought.. Its power at any price..😷
