BohemianBabe Again, I agree that Christie is the "AntiTrump" And as such the alternative view point. But I dont see Trump withdrawing unless actually disqualified, which I dont see happening.There isnt a solid legal case for insurrection charges..And thats where the 14th Amendment comes in..What I do see that the published numbers show is that while everyone but Christie is $h*t scared of Trump and his glued on base, the whole Republican vote is not going to win anything..Except the nomination for Trump. The anti Trump vote got Biden elected last time. And will do so again, maybe bigger.. I hate the idea of another Biden term.. But I believe America hates the idea of another Trump term even more. In terms of economics I can give you a logical reason why the Republicans shouldnt mind sitting out the next term or two. Its not going to be pretty and they can blame the Dems. But frankly I dont give them credit for that much forethought.. Its power at any price..😷
