Legacy admissions should probably be looked at, yes. But that’s not going to open many spots to the average student. Of the roughly 20% of legacy admissions, more than 71% of students had 4.0 GPAs and 22.26% had GPAs between 3.75 and 3.99 on a scale of 4.0; unless your GPA is impeccable you are at a disadvantage since you will be judged by a smaller applicant pool.
