Who is everyone voting for in 2024?

@BohemianBoo Not a protest vote, I am voting for the only candidate not bought by the billionaires. Besides, I vote for some democrats who I think earned it down ballot.

@Spoiledbrat Yes. They're trying to pass voter-restriction bills wherever they can, they tried to steal the 2020 election, and they're still supporting Trump.
Sure, the Democrats suck, but Liberalism is better than Fascism. At least if we still have democracy, we have a shot at improving things.

@BohemianBoo I'll let you in on a little secret, there are many ways to fix this country, both peacefully and not peacefully. If peaceful options are made impossible, like JFK said, Republicans don't support gun control. So regardless of which corporatist wins, we'll always have options, no matter how bad things get.

@Razoreye001 America moving even further to the Right is not going to end Capitalism, it's going to strengthen Capitalism. We have a much better chance at transitioning to Socialism if we have a democracy.
And by the way, you sound exactly like the Bernie or Busters did in 2016. Did refusing to vote bring us closer to Socialism? No, it took us further away because when Republicans win, the overton window shifts to the Right. Plus, because Trump is a Fascist, we're now facing a very real possibility of becoming an autocracy. You think getting to Socialism is difficult in a liberal country? That's nothing compared to the struggle in a fascist country.

@BohemianBoo Well, how does voting for moderates move us to the left? We've been voting for the lesser of two evils for as long as I could remember, and never has the left won anything, ever. Not by voting for Obama twice, and not by electing Joe Biden. Don't you see the rich control both parties, and the democrats are paid to lose elections on purpose, or do nothing when elected to make it easier for republicans to win. You're never going to push this country to the left if you vote for the system, and America is already an oligarchy. It has been since Citizens United.

Also, us tankies aren't fascists, in fact by and large the Soviets killed more Nazis than the British and Americans have. It's a shame the Soviets lost the cold war, because now we have to deal with these capitalist powers with no major opposition. I assume you're some Vaushite liberal, and not a leftist.
