@Katielass: Personally, I would love to see it. Maybe if it happens a couple times the rest of the morons will think twice about rioting. Probably not but at least their idiocy won't be added to the gene pool.
@MasterDvdC: Yes Sir, I must admit it wouldn't hurt my feelings. Not much. Remember that guy in the Middle East who was in a crowd where they were burning the American flag and the guy accidently set himself on fire? That could happen to one of these idiots and it would serve them right.
IDK but crazy ladies will shout "this is my country" repeatedly until removed from the room, placed on a stretcher and fitted into a straightjacket. Off to Belleview.
Maybe a few, but less than before. I think the shock is what did it the most. No one expected trump to win. At least, no one on the left did. So, that expectation was high, then destroyed, so, it was a terrible shock. Now, I think people had some time to adapt to the idea. There might be a fair amount of people who still have that expectation for the electors to choose Hillary--as she did win the popular vote--so, if trump does get elected, there might be a few. But i would guess demonstrations more than anything, as people have had some time to come to trips with the idea.
@Randy1737: Yes, and that is precisely why smarter people than us, in their infinite wisdom, created the electoral college. And it makes sense as we are 50 sovereign states after all, and all 50 sovereign states have a say. Let the ones who can't handle reality stew in their own misery.
No, they are out shopping. They are the ones who actually work and have money to spend and they know the economy will improve shortly so no need to be thrifty.
Over 99% of electors have always voted in line with the election. Trump would have to lose over a dozen times as many as usual to lose. There's no need to worry.
@Katielass: There are probably many of that group who are like my sister and believe that they are the "Movers and Shakers" of America. She's joined a tiny little church and started going to various protest groups and posting strings of things on Facebook. She didn't even know who she was voting for at the beginning of the summer and then started and still is posting anti-Trump rhetoric. Geez...she doesn't work and all she has time for is to stir up stuff.
@cherokeepatti: I'm very sorry to hear that. And that she could be influenced in this way in a church is very troubling. I hope she comes to her senses.
I'm certainly hoping so! The right sorts of riots though; not idiots cursing America and burning our flag. Makes absolutely no sense. You want GOOD for this country but you retaliate by burning our flag? Also i'm pretty sure burning the flag is illegal.
