It's pretty sad when you have to go back 150 years to find a time when Republicans weren't total pieces of shit.

What Cruz is forgetting is that the KKK was founded by conservatives, just as its current members are also conservatives. They just switched parties after the Civil Rights Act was passed.

@specman More like it's an excuse for white racists to whine about how "oppressed" they are because someone reminded them that slavery was once a thing.
