Do most Americans have nothing better to discuss rather than politics?

most of you seem utterly obsessed on this site.
Just to make this clear, this thread is not a excuse for you to ramble on about your political opinions. I dont care.
I am just asking if you have nothing else going on in your lives that take higher priority? for those that only ever talk about politics, I imagine you guys live very sad lives.
There is only very few of you on here that i have noticed are not like that but for example you dont seen anyone outside of America, be as obsessed with politics. Its just weird

As an American, I'm dedicating my time to fighting against my opposition, who has made their politics their whole personality.

The irony and the lack of self awareness that my opposition has is staggering, and I will stop at nothing to continue the fight. It's so important that I'll let it occupy my free time, I'll talk about it on the whim, and so on.
