Do most Americans have nothing better to discuss rather than politics?

most of you seem utterly obsessed on this site.
Just to make this clear, this thread is not a excuse for you to ramble on about your political opinions. I dont care.
I am just asking if you have nothing else going on in your lives that take higher priority? for those that only ever talk about politics, I imagine you guys live very sad lives.
There is only very few of you on here that i have noticed are not like that but for example you dont seen anyone outside of America, be as obsessed with politics. Its just weird

I must say, as an American, I too am irritated by the constant need to interject political opinion into any and/or all conversation. It's over the top and those are the type of people I deliberately avoid.

@MeowsoliniReturns absolutely correct. Politicians dont care about any of us. They tell us what they think we want to hear for them to gain power and fill their own pockets while emptying ours.
People who praise them have been horribly fooled
