So in the UK we go to the voting stations today to vote in the local elections

Its going to be an interesting time today to see if the Tories implode, Labour have massive gains or do the Liberals, Greens and independents make a surprise and do well.

We all have our own reasons to vote, how we vote, if its by loyalty to one party, to give the party a bloody nose, to vote strategically but please vote, don't give that lame excuse my vote is by not voting that's such a sad thing to do as no doubt you've been moaning about things so don't waste this opportunity to make your voice heard at the polling stations

Well first time since my unitary authority came into being that Labour has won overall majority. There's a turn up. Even in the Blair years we had a Labour mp but not the council. The parliamentary constituency changes though make it highly unlikely it'll anything other than a a Tory MP at the next general election.

@OldBrit Then it’s up to the voters to change that!
