The thing is, no one cares. These people have never made the mistake of telling you they were sharing reality. These guys have their own interests, and those are ratings, fame and cash.

We'll say, "who's surprised", we'll make late night joke fodder of it. We'll obsess for one afternoon over it while ignoring the actual monsters in the room. The sooner we erase the media from our daily calendars and every thought, the better we'll all be.

It still won't rouse the worshippers to worship anything else, I'm sure.
