What's so hard to understand about "well-regulated militia?"

Now the entire thing has been quoted. (Imitating Yoda) Pieces out of order are, but quoted the entire amendment has been.

In what universe could "a well-regulated militia being necessary" not mean the well-regulated militia is the thing that is necessary? The amendment is about a well-regulated militia. Not about Cletus Jim Bob Billy Ray Wachado [one guy with all those names] stockpiling assault weapons to get all liquored up and shoot at anything that moves.

@sunsporter1649 does not establish the level of arms you may bare to be any more than a knife. If your limited to only knives, it still allows for you to arm yourself, so how is that wording supposed to win any discussion? and absent the statement proceeding your partial quote, you only try to manipulate a slippery line as absolute.
Now, justify taking them away from criminals with that line of yours. Hell, prisoners would be armed if your line was true!
