What is the difference between marxism and leninism...??

Be aware that while the maga cult is trashing the democrats with a neo marxist moniker,
Steve bannon declared himself a leninist.

lenin added "dictatorship of the proletariat" to pure marxism and dictatorship the soviet union became - like russia is now

@tindrummer so...the left is marxist how?
These people throw about words as labels and have zero understanding of those words.

@Carla I was only answering my take on your 1st question - not addressing current topics.
Carla · 61-69, F
@tindrummer well...thank you.
@tindrummer Not quite. The dictatorship of the proletariat was Marx and it doesn't mean the same things as the way it is implied here and most definitely has nothing to do with modern Russia.
tindrummer · M
@tindrummer Facts are facts. What you posted is factually wrong.

You attributed the dictatorship of the proletariat to the wrong person and it has nothing at all to do with what you mentioned.

Sorry to say you are simply wrong on this.

@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow I was only referring to the dictatorship parr
@tindrummer Again, that doesn't matter because it refers to something completely different in this context so it is still incorrect.
tindrummer · M
@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow I meant the theoretical dictatorship of marx was implemented by lenin - and not like marx visualized
@tindrummer It still doesn't apply and definitely has no connection to modern Russia in any shape or form.

The assumption here that dictatorship means the same thing in all contexts is just wrong.
tindrummer · M
@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow I only stated that lenin created a dictatorship and putin is doing so now
@tindrummer And you claimed that was based on the dictatorship of the proletariat.

Also the idea that Lenin created a dictatorship is also mostly a cold war cliche. Heck even the CIA's own documents stated that even under Stalin calling the USSR a dictatorship was a politically useful lie.
tindrummer · M
@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow ask survivors of the millions in the gulag if they agree with the CIA or you
@tindrummer And now a totally emotional argument demanding putting anecdotes before facts. Keep digging.

You are also conflating two completely different things. That is like judging whether the US is a democracy based on public opinion at super max prisons.
tindrummer · M
@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow "anecdotes" - you could have asked my wife's parents or our many russian friends about that
We're done here.
@tindrummer See my previous point.

@tindrummer But he was a hell of a B-ball player.
