Let me be clear

On the war in Ukraine we're mad not to use the tools of diplomacy to try to end the war. I'm sure that you want to jump the gun on me now and tell me that I'm a Russian stooge etc. Heck, I'm not even using the dreadful words of negotiation and peace here. No, what I'm saying yet again is why not try to stop the war? Putin will not fall this year or the next, and by the time he does we'll all be really out of pocket money. Now don't expect Europe to fund the reconstruction because something like that always comes after the above mentioned usage of the tools of diplomacy. Jaw, jaw is always better than war, war, remember that Churchill saying? Heck, we're all coming out of a pandemic and we're still funding a war instead of ending one. Utter madness!

PS I'm sorry that I've left some of the discussions on faith unaswered as yet on here. It was because of ill health. I'll try to bring those to the front too next. But lets move to this one yet again first

I agree. Slawovski or what his name is, claims he's fighting for Ukraine but he isn't interested in a diplomatic solution. So instead he invites war and terror to Ukrainan streets and promise he'll never leave his people, and is a hero for that? It's so fucked up.

And us Europeans are told to sympathize with him and Ukraine, but to blindly hate Russia. Including all citizens who has nothing to do with the war.

I think it's horrible what these presidents puts their people through. It's them I despise not the victims - the citizens.

This is not an accepted or popular opinion in Europe so I only share it online and irl with a few trusted people.

@Queendragonfly It is true : we all have to blindly follow the acceptable position.

Western leaders do not even want you to ask questions or you will be labelled a criminal or terrorist.

But they are ,and not quietly so ,spending the citizens money on arming Ukraine.

@revenant Yes, and no-one is thinking of the world afterwards except some ideologues yet again who are talking about a brave new world once Russia is so-called tamed. It's total madness. And totally unfair to the Ukrainian people in the end too. What will happen afterwards? Will Russia accept Ukraine inside Nato? Perhaps, but there will be a crazed bear there for decades to come afterwards. Doesn't anyone fear that another cold war that will last for near a century after this hot war and pandemic will put us all down the drains?
@Queendragonfly it was old treaty with usa where Ukrain had to give up it's nuclear head. Right now in Europe nobody is in power to fight Russia. And after 1990 cold war Russia wants more resources. After pandemic countries will show there power. Japan is also rising.

@val70 The crazy thing is that some people are MAD enough to think that a war between the West and China is even possible.
China is getting closer to Russia.

Bunch of psychopaths who absolutely do not want peace.
val70 · 51-55
@littlepuppywantanewlife Why fight Russia in a hot war? Isn't the lesson learned from the cold war to avoid every hot one possible? What is Korea like today? You think that Ukraine won't get the same?
val70 · 51-55
@revenant I agree. Somehow the sane people have left the insane in charge. Why want to fight Russia and China in a hot war? Détente was good enough in the past and it's good enough now. It's the lesson learned from the Cold War after all. Do the most with the least instead of throwing all the money and arms to waste against a solid wall. Because that's what it is, a wall. Russia and China are both too big to be neutered
@val70 please learn something from India Pak wars. 😛
val70 · 51-55
@littlepuppywantanewlife Oh yes, both with nukes and looking at each other across the border. And what happened to the Pundjab again? Oh yes, it's like another Korea. Good to know that you agree with my analysis. It's heading that way again
@val70 Pak is totally controlled by China with abundance of debts and forced them to raise military issues to further capture land across the northern border. China come out with this when it directly tried to attack india in 2020.

@Queendragonfly
Slawovski
Who's Slawovski?
@Queendragonfly But Russia attacked Ukraine - what do you want Zelensky to do, surrender? If Russia attacked your country, is that what you’d want - to be a Russian province?
RodionRomanovitch · 56-60, M
@Queendragonfly You don't even know what the Ukranian President's name is , but you feel qualified to profer an analysis of the conflict ?

For.Fuck's.Sake.
Queendragonfly · 31-35, F
@RodionRomanovitch I don't need to know his name to have an opinion. We can call him Ariel the little mermaid and it still doesn't change what I think of him.
Queendragonfly · 31-35, F
@Northwest Tjevorvski? Pwtroviski?
Northwest · M
@Queendragonfly At a minimum, you should k is the parties names, prior to declaring yourself a subject matter expert.
Queendragonfly · 31-35, F
@Northwest Na. I don't care for names I care for peoples actions. You need to find a better argument.
Northwest · M
@Queendragonfly if you can’t get the names right, how are you certain you’re getting their actions right? What’s laughable is that you think you’re making a coherent argument
Queendragonfly · 31-35, F
@Northwest If how I pronounce some sur name is your only argument you gotta find a better one 😂
Northwest · M
@Queendragonfly some people go away when they’re publicly shamed. You double down on it.
Queendragonfly · 31-35, F
@Northwest Yada yada you care about his name. Wharfs your other argument? Because you're starting to sound a bit like a broken record here.

The point, and the argument, dumb-dumb, is that if you can't get his name right, what did you get right? From the looks of it, pretty much nothing, as your argument, specifically that he invited war and terror on Ukrainian streets, falls flat on its face. As in it's just as false as the name you gave him.

Hopefully you can develop a couple of working neurons, so you can process this. Facts are facts, not an inconsequential part of your 'made up' story.
Queendragonfly · 31-35, F
@Northwest You have no arguments. Ok. Fine by me.
RodionRomanovitch · 56-60, M
@Queendragonfly The argument is obvious , as is your inability to counter it.

@Queendragonfly et voilà
