Casting shade on Nikki Haley (presidential candidate) appears to be the golden ticket. Today's title quote comes from Ann Coulter (famous for her rant against Muslims - "kill their leaders and convert them to Christianity”). Ms. Coulter evidently feels that Nikki – who was born in the USA to a college professor and an attorney – should be deported to a nation she has never lived in. Ahh . . . the embrace of our constitution and principles of the founding fathers by the far right, eh? Send Franklin, Jefferson, and George Washington "back home" too?
Wait – the left hasn't been heard from yet. Don Lemon – one of CNN's most reliable “foot in mouth” talking heads – has been taken off the air until further notice. For his attempted take-down of Nikki as being “past her prime”. This was Don's response to Nikki's suggestion that at some age – say 75 or 80 – politicians should have their mental faculties evaluated. Mr. Lemon's retort was that at age 51 Nikki was also "past her prime". So egregious was Mr. Lemon's diatribe that one of his cohosts called him out on it, and the other walked off the set.
We seldom see left and right so quickly united on a subject. This must mean that Nikki has found the sweet spot in centrist politics and poses a threat to the unhinged extremist agendas which are tearing this nation apart.
